Infected By Art Volume 7 Selected Work

I am happy to announce that I have had a piece selected for inclusion in Infected By Art Volume 7. I really love IBA, and it is a real honor to be included with so many other great artist and their work. You can see a full list of the art included in IBA 7 over on their website. As I said, lots of great work! Here is the piece that was accepted, Hollow Alley created for The Grand Bazaar of Ethra VanDalia...

This might be my favorite piece completed so far for The Grand Bazaar of Ethra VanDalia. It is nice to see that this was the piece that was selected to be featured in IBA 7. If you are curious, here is everything that I submitted for consideration in IBA 7. Congrats to everyone that made it in and a huge thanks to the jury and to Bill Cox for all his work in making IBA a reality. I can't wait to see the completed book first hand!

One of a Kind Grand Bazaar of Ethra VanDalia Playmats - NOW AVAILABLE!

I recently had four sample playmats printed featuring select images from The Grand Bazaar of Ethra VanDalia. I was interested to see how these images would look as playmats and if playmats were a good fit for this project. I am happy to say they printed beautifully, but I am not sure that playmats are the best avenue at this time for this art.

That said, I now have four one of a kind playmats available for anyone interested. Each is standard size, come signed and numbered, and will be not created again in this format or likely at all. For those interested, just follow the link before and select any that you are interested in!

Hollow Alley - The Grand Bazaar of Ethra VanDalia

I have a new piece from The Grand Bazaar of Ethra VanDalia! With all the monsters complete, it is now time to begin exploring the Grand Bazaar itself. The Fifth stop is a visit to Hollow Alley. For many hundreds of years, the Grand Bazaar has slowly grown larger and larger. When outer walls become inner walls, they are often hollowed out and turned into lodging and storefronts. For those with few means, they are an affordable option. Hollow Alley is one of the oldest such wall shops, found deep within the Grand Bazaar. Many deals can be found for those willing to stop by the thousands of shops that make up Hollow Alley...

Due to the complexity of these larger full environment pieces I am now working on, I have needed to do value studies to make sure I know where I am going and don't lose my way.
