Razorvine Blight Miniature

Glad to finally have some new miniatures to share. This time around, we have the Razorvine Blight mini based on my, you guessed it, Razorvine Blight illustration that I created for the D&D supplementPlanescape: Adventures in the Multiverse. I got to design and illustrate this new monster, so it is doubly fun to see that it is now a mini. Here is my final illustration for the Razorvine Blight.

The miniature holds true to my design and pose and turned out beautifully. I began my career in gaming nineteen years ago when I started designing miniatures for the WotC game Dreamblade, and I have been hooked on minis ever since. So I am nothing but happy when I see one of my designs in plastic. It is truly a gift and a joy every time. Here are some photos of the completed mini.

Infinity Con 2024 Artist Proofs

Things are moving fast these days, and as I have to protect all images I put on the internet, it has added additional time to my posting schedule. This means that it is now AFTER Infinity Con 2024, and I am sharing the color art artist proofs that I premade for the event. I began doing this in 2024, and so far, it has been a huge hit. While I didn't expect any of these to sell at Infinity Con, the Breaching Hippocamp went to its forever home. I plan to have many of these with me at Gen Con in a few weeks and went ahead and used Infinity Con as an excuse to get ahead on making these. So, if you are attending Gen Con, you will have access to three of these, plus the others I will be making between now and then. For now, I will leave you with some images of the art on the back of the proofs.

The remaining cards will be going with me to Gen Con!

Inifinity Con 2024 Recap

This past weekend was Infinity Con 2024. It is the hometown convention and always a blast. There is something to be said about only having to transport the booth two miles and then sleeping in your own bed. Saturday was the big day with an impressive crowd, a lot of business, my panel with Mark Maddox, and more. It flew by, and I forgot to take photos of nearly all of it. Most of my pictures were taken on Sunday, as it was a slower day. I saw friends, caught up with some cool folks, and met a lot of new people. The Grand Bazaar was a big hit again, and many copies of the books went out into the world. It was time well spent. Here are some images and additional thoughts from the weekend.

As you might notice, there was a thing on the floor next to my booth that I had to work around. A minor inconvenience at worst. A momentary annoyance. But it was funny, for sure. Had to get my side table *just* right on it, and I was good to go. I find the juxtopostion of the packed booth to the...

fully set up booth to be interesting. I always enjoy when space is not an issue and I can fully set up the booth as I like.

My good friend R2-D2 stopped by. He and I have been to a number of parties together and have socialized a fair bit over the years.

Catching up with local friends Mark Maddox (whose booth was next to mine) and Jefferey Shanks.

Some droids I thought I was looking for.

The droids I was actually looking for.

There were battling bots at Infinifty Con this year, but sadly I never had a chance to see them. Hopefully they will be back next year and I can catch some bot action.

There was a lot of fun cosplay and characters this year. I only managed to get a single photo, but these two are awesome. It is wonderful how much cosplay has become a major part of conventions.

A huge thanks go out to David Heringer for having me as a guest and hosting such a fun event, and all those who attended Infinity Con 2024 this weekend and stopped by to learn more about the Grand Bazaar! I hope to see you all at Infinity Con 2025!

That's all for another exciting Tuesday on the blog. See you back here on Wednesday! Until then...

Water Weird Miniature

I haven't had any new miniatures to share lately, but it would appear that this situation has changed. It is always wonderful to see a mini that is based on my designs or illustrations, and this one has been long awaited for a decade. I redesigned the Water Weird while working on the design push for D&D 5E. It was a fun one, and I hoped that it would eventually become a mini. It took ten years, but here we are. The monster has evolved a little bit from when I worked on it, but it is still recognizable to me. Here is my final design for the Water Weird.

The store only had one copy of this monster so it is staying in the package and going with the rest of my miniature monsters. Here are some photos of the mini in the packaging. It turned out great, and it is wonderful to see another monster in its tiny plastic form.

I will have more minis in the coming weeks. Next week is a bit of a mess, and I am not sure which days will get a post. I know Wednesday for sure will happen, Monday is not happening, and Friday is up in the air currently. But all will be made clear next week. SO, in the weeks after next week, be sure to look for more miniature posts here on the blog.

Signature Upgrades Now Available!

I feel like I should have addressed this long before now, but better late than never. I am now offering signature upgrades when you purchase any of Magic the Gathering artist proofs. As is, they will come with a black signature on the front of the card. But now you can upgrade to metallic gold, one of a selection of colors, metallic gold with shadow, and color with shadow. The signature upgrade is a separate item you will have to add on its own and is not part of each artist proof on my store. All I ask is that you make sure to add the number of signatures you need for the cards you are purchasing and let me know which signature goes on which card.

Now offering metallic gold, colored, metallic gold shadow, and colored shadowed!
And yes, my signature is a bit random and looks slightly different each time.

That's all for another exciting Wednesday on the blog. See you back here on Friday! Until then...
