Pensacon THIS WEEKEND!

Pensacon, and the start of my conventions for the year, starts this coming Friday, February 14, in Pensacola, FL. We love Pensacon, and it is always a wonderful start to the year. We can't wait to reconnect with old friends and to meet new ones. You will find us in the artist alley ring above the vendor floor at booth N10. I do not have enough good things to say about Pensacon, and I hope to see you there!

I will see you at Pensacon from February 14-16, 2025!

At IX this past October, my retractable banner (that never did work quite right) fully failed. It worked enough to see me through the event but needed to be replaced. I had many months to address this issue, but I never really remembered until two weeks ago. Thankfully, Jason Rak was there to save the day and had a new and improved banner made and shipped to me in time for Penascon. Here is a look at that new banner!

I have had several banners over the years, but this is by far the best quality with the best functioning mechanics I have ever had. It is overall smaller, lighter, and easier to use while being the same presentation size as my former banners. A win on every level. I could not be happier with it and can't wait to use it at events.

And do not forget at Pensacon that for the first time, I will be offering discontinued prints in mystery bundles, allowing collectors to obtain prints that are no longer available. Each mystery bundle contains three randomly selected prints. All of the prints come signed, and if you are lucky, you may find a print with an ORIGINAL DRAWING along the border.

I mentioned in my recap of IX 2022 that I took part in a Magic the Gathering artist proof artist jam where we drew live on artist proofs, and they were available for purchase at the convention. I completed three at IX, but there was a fourth that I began but never completed. I took some time last week and finished up that drawing, which is now available at a discount! Discounted Unclaimed Magic the Gathering Artist Proofs AVAILABLE!

Early in my convention days, with my first Magic the Gathering artist proofs, I would have a person interested in a card with a drawing pay when they returned to pick up their finished card. From time to time, the person never returned, and I was left with an AP with a drawing on the back and no home to go to. Eventually, I started requesting payment upfront, and cards were no longer left unclaimed at the end of a convention. It has been a while since I did an in-person convention, and as I begin to prep for events to start happening again, I have started digging through and sorting my convention materials. I came across these unclaimed cards, and I am now offering them 50% off to find a forever home. I even went back and did a little more work on the drawings to be more consistent with the quality I offer currently. Recent Sketch Book and Artist Proof Drawings

Today I have for you a selection of recent artist proofs that I added drawings to their backs. If you are interested in getting any of these for yourself, just follow the links to my store. I have has a recent spike in artist proof sales, and some are actually getting close to selling out. Starting things off, I have a bonus sketchbook drawing. As a reminder, each of my sketchbooks comes with a free drawing, and while I am nearly sold out of my sketchbooks, I still have a handful left, so the sale continues. The Shimmerwing Chimera has suddenly seen a spike in its popularity.

I have found the coveted peacock a challenging card to do drawings that I have been happy with. This is likely my favorite peacock drawing and will be the direction I take in future peacock drawing.

 

The ever favorite Shifting Shadows lizard monster seems to always make an appearance.

 

Lastly, the Loathsome Catoblepas made a rare appearance and was just happy to be included.
