Pensacon This Weekend!

Starting today (Feb 17th), Pensacon will be running through Sunday (Feb 19th) and I will be a guest of the convention in the artist alley. I will have my usual assortment of original art, prints, sketchbooks, artist proof, RAWR! shirts, and all things monsters at my booth. While supplies last, I will have at my booth a limited edition signed and numbered print of the VIP shirt design I did for Pensacon. I will also be taking part in three panel discussions over the weekend as well. I hope to see you out there, Pensacon is a ton of fun!

My Pensacon Panel Schedule

With Pensacon this weekend (February 17-19) I thought it was time to share my panel schedule for the convention. I will once again be taking part in three panels that touch on aspects of my career. On Friday I will be part of the Masters of Special Effects panel and on Sunday I will be part of the Art of Illustration and Star Wars Expanded Universe panels. Pensacon Limited Edition Signed & Numbered VIP Print

Pensacon is this weekend (February 17 - 19)! I am returning as a guest to the con and I could not be more excited. Pensacon is a great convention and I can not speak highly enough about it. This year I was asked to create the artwork for the VIP shirts. Those attendees that purchased the VIP package will receive a shirt with my design on it. I am told they have turned out beautifully and I can not wait to see them in person.

For those attending the convention I will have a print of the shirt design available! Limited to an edition of 30 prints, these 13 x 19 signed and numbered prints will be available at my booth in the Artist Alley. Anyone can buy them, not just VIP pass holders, but once they are gone, they are gone.

I am extremely happy with how these prints have turned out. I used a new printing company and they have really impressed me with their quality, consistency, pricing,  and customer service. These photos of the prints do not do them justice. I will be using them for all my prints moving forward.

SagaBorn Roleplaying Game Kickstarter

The most excellent Michael Bielaczyc has started up a new Kickstarter for his SagaBorn Rollplaying Game. I have had the great opportunity to create some monsters in the past for Michael's projects and I am happy to say that I will be a part of his new endeavor. The Kickstarter went live yesterday and it is already funded! There is no reason not to jump on board and get in on the SagaBorn fun. There is a great list of artist that have already committed to working on Sagaborn and it should be another great product by Micheal. Head on over to Kickstarter and make you pledge today!

Footman - The Grand Bazaar of Ethra VanDalia

I have a new personal piece from the series of toned paper monsters I have been working on. I have significantly increased my work on these pieces, and I have more completed pieces waiting to be shared. I will go into greater detail another day, but the grand idea for all of these has come into focus, and an end goal has been set, but that is all I can say for now.

Today's monster is the most perplexing Footman. The Footmen are one of the many monstrosities that are part of the Woven. Is there nothing that the Woven Shaper not attempt? Time will tell.

Dream Worlds: The Art of Imaginative Realism

Files this under better late then never because I am VERY behind on getting stuff up on the blog right now. I am THRILLED to announce that I am currently part of a massive group show, Dream Worlds: The Art of Imaginative Realism, at the Canton Museum of Art in Canton, OH. The most excellent and amazing Chris Seaman has put the show together and asked me to be a part of it. The show opened in late November and will be running through March 12. The list of participating artists is amazing and from what I have seen the show is amazing. I would like to thank Kaleigh Pisani-Paige form the Canton Museum of Art for sending me some images of my work hanging in the show...

A SUPER big thanks to Chris for including me in the show. I really wish I could get to Canton to see it in person. As you can see I have 4 of my toned paper monsters in attendance.
