Infinity Con 2026 Recap

I'll be completely honest, convention session snuck up on me. I have been nearly completely focused on writing, and before I knew it, Infinity Con was here, and I wasn't ready. Both physically and mentally. I just was not ready to do a con yet. Do not get me wrong, I love Infinity Con, and I was excited to do it, just not ready to do it. But once I got to set up, everything changed. The vibe was there, and the excitement and energy were contagious, and before I knew it, I was in the right brain space to booth. Even though Pensacon was only in February, it felt like years since I set up the booth. We were in an AMAZING location this year, and I hope that we can return to the exact spot.

Friday night saw the first Infinity Con Drink & Draw fundraiser, and in my opinion, it was a raging success. Loads of people showed up, art was made, art was bought, and drinks were drunk. It was a fun, fun time, and I hope that we see its return next year. Once the doors opened Saturday morning, it did not stop until Sunday evening. I haven't seen the likes of the crowd on Saturday. Tallahassee understood the assignment and showed up, it was a delight to see. While there were many familiar faces, there were many, many new faces, which is exciting to see. I was on two great panels, with the second, a panel on world-building, being my favorite of all the panels I have done at this event.  It was from start to finish a wonderful weekend, and I got to talk a lot about the Bazaar, making monsters, and being an artist. Thank you, Tallahassee, David Heringer, for having me as a guest and hosting such a fun event, the entire IC staff, and the infamous Dr. Shanks and Mr. Maddox.

I was so in the moment that the majority of the time, I didn't take many photos, but here are the few I did take.

I brought some pieces that I had already completed to the Drink and Draw to help beef up the auction for the fundraiser, but I did complete this Tentacle Party that evening.

My good personal friend R2-D2 stopped by to see me on Saturday. Always good to see R2.

I did one artist proof drawing over the weekend, and it was for a gross zombie. RAWR!

We couldn't tell because the lights (there are four) were in our faces.

Infinity Con 2026 This Weekend - Drink & Draw TONIGHT!

This is Infinity Con weekend! I hope to see you out there tonight, July 10th, at the pre-party Drink & Draw fundraiser at Amicus Brewing from 7-10 PM, and ALL weekend at Infinity Con this July 11th and 12th! Tonight, grab some food from the onsite food truck, your choice of alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverage, hang out with guest artists, and bid on a piece of original art! And tomorrow and Sunday, there will be tons of fun for the entire family and loads to do on a hot Tallahassee weekend.

Infinity Con 2026 Drink & Draw this Friday Night!

While the main event of Infinity Con is this Saturday and Sunday, for the first time, there will be a pre-party Drink & Draw fundraiser taking place this Friday night! Be sure to come out to Amicus Brewing Friday, July 10th, from 7-10 PM to grab some food from the onsight foodtruck, your choice of alcoholic or nonalcoholic beverage, hang out with guest artists, and bid on a piece of original art!

I hope to see you out at Amicus this Friday night!

I will be there with other amazing artists drawing on site!

Infinity Con 2026 Guest Announcement!

I am thrilled to announce that I will be returning as a guest to Infinity Con this coming July 11th and 12th in Tallahassee, FL. Infinity Con is a fantastic event, and it is always a joy to share my work with those in Tallahassee. Getting to sleep in your bed while also doing a convention is a treat. I will bring the Grand Bazaar with me again, so you can expect books, art, enamel pins, mystery print bundles, some new art, and more! I will share any additional details as we get closer to the event. Mark your calendars, and I will see you at the Donald Tucker Civic Center in less than a month.

Inifinity Con Gainesville 2025 Recap

This past weekend was Infinity Con Gainesville 2025. This was the second and my first IC Gainesville. I had a scheduling conflict last year and wasn't able to attend till this year. The venue for ICG was AMAZING! The space was large and well lit and offered up loads of space for all the great vendors, artists, and guests that were in attendance. This was the type of event I would have gladly attended and would have pored over the boxes of comics, old toys, and records. But alas, I had to be at my table and was not able to take in as much of the show as I would have liked. I was part of two panels, the first, a solo panel on Saturday, was about my career, and the second, on Sunday, was a trio of panelists discussing world-building. I had a great time sharing the Grand Bazaar with new people as well as reconnecting with convention friends and artists. MANY thanks to David and his entire team for making it a fun weekend. I did manage to take a few, but not many, images of the con.

Friday night allowed me some downtime before the show, and I spent that time in my sketchbook.

This was an interesting display of Pokémon/Squid Games mashup.

At some point on Saturday, this little unicorn appeared on the floor in front of the booth. I assumed it was dropped, so I left it, hoping that its owner would return to find it. Eventually, the folks across from me came over and picked it up and placed it at the corner of my table, again, hoping that it would be reunited with its owner. By teardown on Sunday afternoon, it was still hanging out at my booth and has since returned home with me. I guess I have a unicorn now.

And that which was, must be undone. In a flash, the two days were over, and it was time to head home.

Again, thanks to David and the entire ICG team, those set up around me at the show, and to all those who came to my booth!

Infinity Con GAINESVILLE 2025 THIS WEEKEND!

Infinity Con Gainesville is THIS WEEKEND, and I will be there as a guest! Infinity Con Tallahassee is a great event and we have a ton of fun, so we are bringing that energy to Gainesville this weekend. I will have nearly all of the Grand Bazaar with me, so you can expect books, art, enamel pins, and a lot of new art! I will have some surprises for the show as well!

Inifinity Con 2025 Recap

This past weekend was Infinity Con 2025. It is always great to be a part of a local event like this. This year felt super busy, and there were a ton of vendors, guests, artists, activities, panels, and more. I barely saw any of the show as I was always busy at the booth talking to people. Late Sunday, I had a person come up to the booth and tell me that in that moment, it was the first time they had seen me without people at the booth. It was a blast to talk to everyone, catch up with friends, and meet new ones. Once again, I shared the stage with Mark Maddox to talk about monsters and the changing landscape of the industry and our careers. Always a fun time! I would love to tell you more about the con beyond my booth, but like I said, I was just too busy to see much of it while it was going on. I did manage to take a few pictures of the con.

I was thrilled with my location at the show. I was at the end of a row and near a busy path for attendees.

Infinity Con 2025 Starts TOMORROW!

Infinity Con starts tomorrow in Tallahassee, FL, at the Donald Tucker Civic Center. I will be there with all my monsters and will be surrounded by a lot of other awesome guests, creators, and vendors. I am looking forward to seeing a lot of familiar faces and to meeting many new ones. I hope to see you out there, and do not forget the return of my Mystery Print Bundles!

Did someone say Mystery Print Bundles!? I will offer MORE discontinued prints in mystery bundles, allowing collectors to obtain prints that are no longer available or were never made available. Each mystery bundle contains three randomly selected prints. All of the prints come signed, and if you are lucky, you may find a print with an ORIGINAL DRAWING along the border, a SURPRISE FOURTH PRINT, or a CERTIFICATE FOR A FREE DRAWING.
