I am pleased to share that all remaining Magic the Gathering Artist Proofs from Weevilcon and last year's Magic in Miniature gallery show are now available! These six proofs range from black and white, color, to fully painted art on their backs, and are ready to travel to their forever homes. If one of these is not to your liking, all of my other proofs are available, and you can have art of your choice added to their backs. All the details and more are on my store!

Here is a closer look and direct links to all currently available cards. Please be aware that the two cards from the gallery show have standard black signatures on their fronts, while the four cards from Weevilcon have metallic gold signatures with black shadows. Weevilcon Recap

I am back from a fun time at Weevilcon over this past weekend. We had a great time, met lots of fun people, and got to share the Grand Bazaar with so many new people. I was one of three guests, which included Ray Hurd and Megan Hollingshead, both of which are voice actors. The three of us had an extremely fun panel together as we answered questions and shared stories from our careers. This is the second mixed discipline panel I have done this year, and they are a lot of fun. It is interesting how we have more in common than differences when it comes to our careers. We might do different work, but our stories share many similarities. This was Weevilcon's second year, and for a second year, and the size of the overall event, I was really impressed. There were things to do for the entire family, food trucks, outside and inside events, gaming tournaments, vendors, guests, and a cosplay contest. A massive thanks to our hosts, the Weevil Cards and Collectables team, the vendors, everyone who stopped by the booth, and those who have now journeyed to the Grand Bazaar! Here are some images from the weekend.

Two images of the booth at Weevilcon. Always nice to have plenty of room!

A look around the hall at the various vendors. One of the great things about smaller events is that they are often the first convention for vendors and attendees, and it is a much more manageable undertaking than jumping into the deep end at a large convention. There were several vendors we spoke with that this was their first event, and it was wonderful seeing them have a good time and learn about what works and doesn't at events.

On the stage behind us was a fun photo backdrop... RAWR!

A Magic the Gathering Egg token that I added a dinosaur to.

The massive and beautiful deluxe Lego Millennium Falcon. So cool to see it in person.

Fool Me Once from Imperial Assault went to its forever home.

I got to hand out packs at the Modern Horizon 3 prerelease event. I don't have any cards in the set, but it was fun to be a part of the event - Thanks, Austin!

At the panel with Ray and Megan!

An AWESOME trophy that was handed out to those who played Warhammer for the first time at the demo sessions. This one was gifted to me - again, thank you, Austin!

And another epic Lego set was on display.

One last shot of Ray, Megan, and I at the end of the convention.

Again, a MASSIVE thanks to our hosts and everyone who made Weevilcon such a fun time!!!

That's all for another exciting Wednesday on the blog. See you back here on Friday! Until then...

Color MtG Artist Proofs for Weevilcon!

As mentioned last week, I will be at Weevilcon this weekend. As part of my planned surprises, I will have a selection of Magic the Gathering artist proofs with color art on their backs. As I can not do full-color art at a con or event, this is a way for those attending to have a chance at them. If I have any of these remaining after the event, it is likely they will be available on my store, or they might wait in the wings for Infinity Con or Gen Con, but we shall see. For now, here are the seven new proofs I will have with me at Weevilcon.

I will have these seven artist proofs with color art on their backs with me at Weevilcon this weekend.
In addition, I will also have with me two proofs from the 2023 Magic: The Gathering in Miniature Show.

Here is a closer look at the seven new artists proofs I will have with me at Weevilcon!

Ancient Carp with gold signature and numbering

Bride Taker with a gold tooth

Coveted Peacock

Since I will be a Weevilcon and the Fretwork Colony is based on a weevil...

...it only seems natural to bring two, one regular and one foil.

Gudul Lurker

And finally, my favorite of the lot, and maybe my favorite of this card, the Shifting Shadow

That's all for another exciting Wednesday on the blog. As there is much going on, I will be missing Friday's post but will return next week. Until then...
