The Edge of the Empire Signature Bounty Hunter Abilities Deck is the first time that Armed to the Teeth has been reused, to my knowledge. If for some reason you are hunting down the Edge of the Empire Signature Bounty Hunter Abilities Deck to complete your collection of my work, here is an image of the front of the packaging so that you can get the correct one.

Lastly, here is the original illustration for Armed to the Teeth. It was initially used in the Between the Shadows expansion for the Star Wars card game, which is no longer in production.

I am pretty sure we went to school together. If you went to Osceola and made the 'Kill for Peace' comic, you're that guy. Anyway, just watched a documentary with you in it and thought I would check in. We used to draw together in art class.
ReplyDeleteHello! That would be me. I assume you were watching Eye of the Beholder? Osceola seems like another lifetime ago at this point. Thanks for checking in! I hope the years have been good to you. It has been a crazy adventure over here.
DeleteYes it was Eye of the Beholder. I still have a few of the Osceola Newspapers with your original comic in it. I showed my son that I did indeed know you. He could care less. I'm glad to see you got into Star Wars trading cards. I'm a huge Fett fan. I will go look for those. As soon as I saw you I knew it was actually you, but you know 25+ years and details become blurred.
ReplyDeleteHAH! Kids are like that. :) Yeah, the years a whole lot of living have a way of blurring the early days. Star Wars was fun to work on, they pay horribly, but it was fun for awhile. They never had me do any Boba Fett piece, I specialize in the monsters. Been focusing on my book and have stepped away from client work. A lot more rewarding and a lot more fun ;)
