Basilisk - Talisman Frostmarch expansion

Frostmarch, the newest expansion for Talisman came out last week and I did some work for it. Well, I say some work, it was in fact one piece for this set, but I figure you have to start somewhere, right? This was the very first project I had the opportunity to work on for Fantasy Flight Games and it was a blast. When I got the assignment I almost missed the art order in the email, there was a single word in a block by itself, "Basilisk". You just can't go wrong with that. Not only was this my first project with FFG but this was also my first piece of card art. As a side note my comp copy of Frostmarch arrived in the mail on Monday and I was thrilled to see they used my piece as part of the box art as well. I have been fortunate enough to find myself on several other Fantasy Flight Games projects and look forward to sharing that work as well when I am allowed. Until then...

    Looks great matey.. is it traditional? I'm sure it's not but it does have that feel.. cool work and well done on the gig! :)

    Thanks! It is digital. I have been getting many comments lately about my work looking traditional and I take them as a high compliment. It is funny, I never really worked traditional, so the fact that my digital work looks traditional is interesting. I only see it as digital though, but that is me and my constant staring.
