Where do you work and what does your daily schedule look like? How many projects can you do in a week/month? I never know how to start a mail... What should I write to not sound full of myself but still come of as someone with self confidence? And I never feel that I have a strong enough portfolio to ever get work..

Again, thanks so much for doing this!vinterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15530644704170629977noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6925048028395203452.post-9513341426513170232012-10-29T10:27:31.004-04:002012-10-29T10:27:31.004-04:00Very cool idea, sir.

Every so often we get the original goofy reference photo when you post a process, but I thought it would be interesting to get an in depth peek at your armory.

Thanks of sharing.Realmwrighthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12025487066357949785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6925048028395203452.post-55322630547870611832012-10-29T09:44:03.837-04:002012-10-29T09:44:03.837-04:00Hi there. I'm working as a junior game designer for a small game company in Asia and just wanted to ask you a few things.

I have difficulty painting without lines, I'm one of those painters whose stuff generally looks better with the line work intact. Is this considered a 'handicap' of some sort in the industry? Sometimes I get a little worried when I see amazing pieces done without line work but at the same time I see equally amazing pieces with the line work intact but I'm still not entirely sure whether keeping my line work will present a problem.

I am also rather terrible at dealing with painting textures. I've practiced trying to paint wood and stone textures using reference but I tend to get so overwhelmed by all the stuff on them like the cracks/ridges that get all over the place. Your stuff is pretty detailed when it comes to creature skins and scales; is there a way of breaking it down so that it's not so daunting.
